sec.179 Limitation on time for starting proceedings
A proceeding for an offence against this Act must start within the later of the following periods to end— 1 year after the commission of the offence; 6 months after the offence comes to the knowledge of the complainant, but within 2 years after the commission of the offence.
- (a) 1 year after the commission of the offence;
- (b) 6 months after the offence comes to the knowledge of the complainant, but within 2 years after the commission of the offence.
