80A Informal resolution (1) This section applies if the ombudsman considers that a matter to which an application for ombudsman review relates may be resolved by an informal process. (2) The ombudsman may— (a) assist the respondent and applicant to resolve the matter informally; and (b) suspend the application of section 82 for up to 30 working days for the purpose of paragraph (a).
