66A Offence to leave certain campfires or barbeques unattended
S. 66A(1) amended by No. 40/2020 s. 32(1).
(1) The person in charge of a campfire or barbeque using solid fuel and that is in the open air in a regulated fire area or on any licensed water frontage that is not State forest must not—
(a) be outside the line of sight of the campfire or barbeque; or
(b) be more than 50 metres from the perimeter of the campfire or barbeque.

(2) In this section and in sections 66B and 66C—
***licensed water frontage*** has the same meaning as in the **Land Act 1958**;
***regulated fire area*** means any State forest, protected public land or national park.
