### 15 Registration of notice relating to private timber reserve > > (1)  [*\[Section 15 Subsection (1) amended by No. 55 of 2004, s. 40, Applied:01 Jul 2005\]*](/view/html/inforce/2005-07-01/act-2004-055#GS40@Hpa@EN) *\[Section 15 Subsection (1) amended by No. 29 of 1994, s. 35 and Sched. 1 \]*Where a notice is published in the *Gazette* under [section 11](#GS11@EN) declaring any land as a private timber reserve, the Authority shall forthwith cause the notice to be registered in respect of that land. > > > (2)  [*\[Section 15 Subsection (2) amended by No. 55 of 2004, s. 40, Applied:01 Jul 2005\]*](/view/html/inforce/2005-07-01/act-2004-055#GS40@Hpb@EN) *\[Section 15 Subsection (2) amended by No. 29 of 1994, s. 35 and Sched. 1 \]*Where a notice is published in the *Gazette* under [section 13](#GS13@EN) [(6)](#GS13@Gs6@EN) or [14](#GS14@EN) [(11)](#GS14@Gs11@EN) by which the whole or any part of a private timber reserve ceases to be, or ceases to form part of, a private timber reserve, the Authority shall forthwith cause the notice to be registered in respect of the land to which it relates. > > > (3)  The provisions of [Schedule 1](#JS1@EN) have effect in relation to the registration of notices under this section. > > > (4)  Nothing in [section 40 of the](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1980-019#GS40@EN) [Land Titles Act 1980](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1980-019) shall be construed as affecting the validity of any notice referred to in this section or as prejudicing or affecting the registration of any such notice.
