sec.22 Preservation of rights

This section applies if a public sector employee is appointed as the director or a deputy director. The person keeps all rights accrued or accruing to the person as a public sector employee as if service as the director or a deputy director were a continuation of service as a public sector employee. At the end of the person’s term of office or on resignation as the director or a deputy director, the person’s service as the director or a deputy director is taken to be service of a like nature for deciding the person’s rights as a public sector employee. s 22 amd 2025 No. 18 s 59R (sec.22-ssec.1) This section applies if a public sector employee is appointed as the director or a deputy director.
