sec.165 Application of transitional provisions to forensic disability clients
A provision of the Mental Health Act 2016 , chapter 20 applies for a forensic disability client to the extent— the provision operates in relation to a previously applied provision; and the context permits. This section does not limit the operation of the Mental Health Act 2016 , chapter 20. In this section— previously applied provision means a provision of the repealed Mental Health Act 2000 that was, immediately before the commencement, an applied provision under this Act. s 165 ins 2016 No. 5 s 912 (sec.165-ssec.1) A provision of the Mental Health Act 2016 , chapter 20 applies for a forensic disability client to the extent— the provision operates in relation to a previously applied provision; and the context permits. (sec.165-ssec.2) This section does not limit the operation of the Mental Health Act 2016 , chapter 20. (sec.165-ssec.3) In this section— previously applied provision means a provision of the repealed Mental Health Act 2000 that was, immediately before the commencement, an applied provision under this Act.
- (a) the provision operates in relation to a previously applied provision; and
- (b) the context permits.
