#### 32 Investments in financial sector companies (1) The excluded provisions do not (subject to subsection (2)) apply in relation to an acquisition of an interest in shares if the shares are in a financial sector company (within the meaning of the Financial Sector (Shareholdings) Act 1998). (2) This section does not apply in relation to an acquisition of an interest by a foreign government investor.
