64 Transitional—applying to vary an exemption certificate

(1) This section applies for working out the amount of a fee under subsection 40(1) for a variation of an exemption certificate if the fee under subsection 113(1) of the Foreign Acquisitions Act payable for the application for the exemption certificate was payable before 1 January 2021 under the old law. (2) Paragraph 40(1)(b) applies to the variation as if the fee mentioned in that paragraph were the fee referred to in subsection (1) of this section that was payable under the old law.
