77Calling for submissions

#### 77 Calling for submissions (1) The Authority must give public notice of the matters mentioned in subsection (3) before a high level health claims variation is approved as a result of a proposal. (2) The Authority must also give notice of the matters mentioned in subsection (3) to the Food Regulation Standing Committee before a high level health claims variation is approved. (3) The notice must: (a) state that the Authority has prepared a draft high level health claims variation; and (b) include a copy of the draft variation, or state how a copy of the draft variation can be obtained; and (c) call for written submissions, for the purpose of the Authority’s consideration of the draft variation, to be given to the Authority within the period specified in the notice (the submission period).
