This chapter sets out the dairy produce food safety scheme (the dairy scheme ). The dairy scheme gives effect to particular requirements of the food standards code, standards 4.2.4 Primary production and processing standard for dairy products (Australia only) and 4.2.4A Primary production and processing standard for specific cheeses (Australia only) . At the commencement of this section, the standards were able to be viewed at www.foodstandards.gov.au/code/Pages/default.aspx.
