sec.55 Notice and effect of amendment, suspension or cancellation
If Safe Food amends, suspends or cancels an accreditation under section 53 , Safe Food must give the accreditation holder an information notice for the decision to amend, suspend or cancel the accreditation. An amendment takes effect from the day stated in the information notice. If Safe Food suspends the accreditation, it is ineffective during the period of suspension. The suspension— may be for the period Safe Food decides; and has effect from— the day the information notice is given; or if a later day is stated in the information notice—the stated day. If Safe Food cancels the accreditation, it ceases to have effect from— the day the information notice is given; or if a later day is stated in the information notice—the stated day. s 55 amd 2009 No. 24 s 542 (sec.55-ssec.1) If Safe Food amends, suspends or cancels an accreditation under section 53 , Safe Food must give the accreditation holder an information notice for the decision to amend, suspend or cancel the accreditation. (sec.55-ssec.2) An amendment takes effect from the day stated in the information notice. (sec.55-ssec.3) If Safe Food suspends the accreditation, it is ineffective during the period of suspension. (sec.55-ssec.4) The suspension— may be for the period Safe Food decides; and has effect from— the day the information notice is given; or if a later day is stated in the information notice—the stated day. (sec.55-ssec.5) If Safe Food cancels the accreditation, it ceases to have effect from— the day the information notice is given; or if a later day is stated in the information notice—the stated day.
