86 Payment for sample When an authorised officer obtains a sample of food for analysis, the authorised officer must pay or tender payment of: (a) the prescribed amount in respect of the sample; or (b) if there is no prescribed amount – the amount equal to the current market value of the sample, to the person from whom he or she obtains the sample.
