85 Proprietor to be informed An authorised officer who obtains a sample of food for analysis or another authorised officer must, before the sample is obtained or as soon as practicable after it is obtained: (a) inform the proprietor of the food business from which the sample is to be or was obtained that the sample is being obtained for analysis; or (b) if the proprietor is not present or readily available – inform the person from whom the sample is to be or was obtained or who is or was in charge of the food from which the sample is to be or was obtained that the sample is being obtained for analysis.
