#### 56 Adjournment pending hearing of other proceedings 56 Adjournment pending hearing of other proceedings > If on the hearing of an application made under section 52 it appears to the court that the item that is the subject of the application is required to be produced in evidence in any pending proceedings in connection with an offence under this Act or the regulations or under any other Act or regulations under any other Act, the court, on the application of the respondent or on its own motion, may adjourn the hearing until the conclusion of those proceedings.
