57B Seizure of things not mentioned in warrant If, in the course of executing a search warrant under section 57A, the authorised officer— (a) finds a thing that the authorised officer believes on reasonable grounds to be— (i) connected with the offence referred to in section 57A(1), although not the thing named or described in the warrant; or (ii) connected with another offence against this Act or the regulations; and (b) believes, on reasonable grounds, that it is necessary to seize that thing in order to prevent its concealment, loss or destruction, or its use in committing, continuing or repeating the offence— the warrant is deemed to authorise the authorised officer to seize the thing.
