Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

What this does: This regulation removes (repeals) two earlier sets of rules that charged fees (called levies) on commercial fishing in the North East Demersal Line Fishery.

Who it affects: Commercial fishers and fishing businesses that previously had to pay fees under the 1993 and 1994 regulations for this specific fishery.

Why it matters: Once repealed, those specific fee-charging rules no longer apply. This means fishers are no longer required to pay the levies that were set out in the old regulations, and those specific compliance obligations disappear.
