In ForceSA

Jurisdiction

South Australia

Collection

act

Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Act retroactively validates certain past administrative variations to fishery licence conditions and past renewal-fee payments under specified Blue Crab and Marine Scalefish regulations, treating any invalid acts or amounts as if they were valid (s3(1)–(2)). It affects licence holders (who paid fees) and fisheries administrators (who made the variations) by fixing the legal status of those past acts, shifting who bears post‑hoc legal risk and narrowing grounds for refunds or challenges.
