25 Scallop quota unit balance
(1) The holder of a fishing licence (scallop) must not take scallops for commercial purposes if the scallop quota unit balance in relation to that licence is zero kilograms or less for the quota period.
Penalty: Grade 3 penalty.
(2) The holder of a fishing licence (scallop) must keep, on the fishing vessel specified in the relevant fishing certificate, records for the quota period that show –
(a) the scallop quota unit balance for the licence after each unloading; and
(b) the scallop quota unit balance for the licence before the commencement of each fishing trip.
Penalty: Grade 3 penalty.
