These Rules amend the Fisheries (Scallop) Rules 2020 by incorporating multiple amendments into the authorised version; they commence on the day their Gazette notice appears (rule 2). They affect people and businesses regulated by the Principal Rules (fishers, vessels, processors) and are administered by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania; specific obligations and costs are found in the amended authorised version (see rule 3 and rules 4–25).

These rules may be cited as the Fisheries (Scallop) Amendment Rules 2025 .
These rules take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
