Tasmania act
This Act retroactively validates the Fisheries Rules 1996 by treating them as if they had been lawfully declared an interim management plan under the Living Marine Resources Management Act from 31 May 1996. It affects persons and businesses subject to those Rules by confirming their legal status, and assigns responsibility for administering the Act to the Minister for Primary Industry and Fisheries and that Department until an administrative order is made.
