This instrument amends the Fisheries (Processing and Handling) Rules 2010. It takes effect on the day its making is notified in the Gazette and identifies the 2010 Rules as the Principal Rules. Mechanically, the amendment has been incorporated into the authorised (consolidated) version of the 2010 Rules. It applies to persons and businesses regulated under those Rules and is administered by the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment.

In these rules, the Fisheries (Processing and Handling) Rules 2010 are referred to as the Principal Rules.
