82 Identification of the call sign of a foreign boat
(1) The master of a foreign boat that is being used in the AFZ under a foreign fishing licence must show the boat’s international radio call sign on the boat in accordance with subsections (2) and (3).
Penalty: 25 penalty units.
(2) The call sign must be displayed clearly and prominently on the boat at all times so that it is visible from the outside of the boat. (3) The call sign must be displayed in a position or positions on the boat that makes each sign clearly visible from an aircraft or a boat. (4) An offence against subsection (1) is an offence of strict liability.
