#### 55G Power to redefine fishery with shareholder support 55G Power to redefine fishery with shareholder support > > (1) The Governor may, by proclamation made on the recommendation of the Minister and published on the NSW legislation website, amend Schedule 1 by inserting or omitting the description of a fishery. > > > (2) The Minister is to recommend the making of a proclamation under this section only if the Minister has issued a certificate that certifies that the purpose of the proclamation is to give effect to a redefinition proposal that has majority support. > > > (3) Any defect in the certificate does not affect the validity of a proclamation made under this section. > > > (4) Section 44 does not apply if a description of a share management fishery is omitted from Schedule 1 under this section. > > **pt 3, div 4A (ss 55A–55G):** Ins 2015 No 59, Sch 1 \[25\].
