#### 47 Application for shares 47 Application for shares > > (1) An eligible person may apply to the Minister for the issue of shares in a share management fishery if an invitation for applications has been given by public notice under this Division. > > > (2) The application is to be in writing in the form approved by the Minister and lodged with the Minister within the time specified in the public notice. > > > (3) The application is to be accompanied by the application fee specified in the public notice. Any such fee is not to exceed any maximum fee prescribed by the regulations. > > > (4) The Minister may require the applicant to supply additional information to support the application. The Minister may reject the application if the additional information is not supplied within the time required by the Minister. > > > (5) The Minister may also obtain information from other sources in relation to the application.
