#### 282K Community service work in respect of serious fisheries offences 282K Community service work in respect of serious fisheries offences > > (1) If a court makes an intensive correction order or community correction order respectively subject to a community service work condition in respect of a person convicted of a serious fisheries offence, the court may recommend that the community service work to be performed by the person include work the purpose of which is to restore damage to any fishery resource (whether or not caused by the person) or to otherwise enhance, maintain or protect fishery resources. > > > (2) This section does not limit the powers of a court under the [Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Act 1999](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1999-092). > > > (3) In this section— > > > > community service work has the same meaning as it has in the [Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Act 1999](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1999-092). > > > > intensive correction order and community correction order have the same meanings as they have in the [Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Act 1999](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1999-092). > > **s 282K:** Ins 2009 No 114, Sch 1 \[137\].
