#### 221IG Interim orders 221IG Interim orders > > (1) The Minister may make an interim order to permit the continuation of an existing activity if the Minister considers that the making of the interim order is reasonably necessary to reduce social or economic impacts during the assessment of a proposed order under this Subdivision. > > > (2) The Minister makes an interim order by publishing the order in the Gazette. > > > (3) An interim order remains in force for such period, not exceeding 6 months, as the Minister specifies in the order, but the order may be remade. > > > (4) The Minister is not obliged to comply with any other requirements of this Subdivision in relation to an interim order. > > > (5) An interim order may be made subject to conditions or restrictions. > > **ss 221IA–221IJ:** Ins 2001 No 104, Sch 1 \[28\].
