#### 220ZM Guidelines for recovery or threat abatement plans 220ZM Guidelines for recovery or threat abatement plans > > (1) The Secretary must, in preparing a plan and in deciding which measures to include in it, have regard to the following— > > > > > (a) the objects of this Part, > > > > > (b) the likely social and economic consequences of the making of the plan, > > > > > (c) the most efficient and effective use of available resources for the conservation of threatened species, populations and ecological communities, > > > > > (d) the desirability of minimising any significant adverse social and economic consequences. > > > (2) The Secretary is to consider, when preparing a plan, any measures by which the public may co-operate— > > > > > (a) in the conservation of the threatened species, population or ecological community, or > > > > > (b) in the abatement, amelioration or elimination of the adverse effects of the key threatening process on threatened species, populations or ecological communities. > > **s 220ZM:** Ins 1997 No 153, Sch 1 \[9\].
