#### 220W Maps of critical habitat 220W Maps of critical habitat > > (1) Before any critical habitat is declared or any declaration of critical habitat is amended, the Minister must arrange for the preparation of a map that shows the location of the critical habitat proposed to be declared or amended. > > > (2) A copy of the map is to be published in the Gazette and the description in a notification of the area declared to be critical habitat, or any amendment of that area, is to be provided by or by reference to that map. > > > (3) The Minister must serve a copy of a map of critical habitat on the following— > > > > > (a) the Secretary of the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, > > > > > (b) (Repealed) > > > > > (c) each local council within whose area the whole or part of the critical habitat is located, > > > > > (d) any other affected persons as the Minister considers appropriate. > > **s 220W:** Ins 1997 No 153, Sch 1 \[9\].
