126Appointment of members

#### 126 Appointment of members (1) The members of the Panel are to be appointed by the Minister. (2) A person may not be appointed as a member for more than 3 consecutive terms. (3) Members of the Panel, other than the Principal Member, are to be appointed from persons nominated under Division 2. (4) Subject to this Part, a member holds office for such term (not exceeding 4 years) as is specified in the instrument of appointment, but is eligible for re‑appointment in accordance with this Part. (5) A member is to be appointed as a part‑time member. (6) The appointment of a person as a member is not invalid because of a defect or irregularity in connection with the person’s nomination or appointment.
