##### 8 Officers Without limiting the operation of section 5, 6 or 7, a person who, immediately before the repeal of the Fisheries Act 1952, other than Part IVA, was a person mentioned in paragraph (a) of the definition of officer in subsection 4(1) of that Act is taken, after the commencement of section 83 of the Fisheries Management Act 1991, to be an officer appointed under that section.
