sec.53 Developmental fishing permit
The holder of a developmental fishing permit and anyone else identified in the permit may do any of the following under the permit— assess the commercial viability of a fishing activity, fishing apparatus or boat for a fishery identified in the permit; buy, use and possess fishing apparatus to carry out the assessment; take, possess and process fish taken for carrying out the assessment; sell the fish taken for carrying out the assessment.
- (a) assess the commercial viability of a fishing activity, fishing apparatus or boat for a fishery identified in the permit;
- (b) buy, use and possess fishing apparatus to carry out the assessment;
- (c) take, possess and process fish taken for carrying out the assessment;
- (d) sell the fish taken for carrying out the assessment.
