sch.2A-sec.17 Effort unit certificate

The chief executive must issue a certificate (an effort unit certificate ) to each person who holds effort units for the Moreton Bay trawl region issued under this part. The effort unit certificate must state the following— the holder’s name; that the units are issued for taking fish in the Moreton Bay trawl region; how many effort units for the Moreton Bay trawl region the holder has; if the chief executive has imposed conditions on the effort units under section 61 of the Act —the conditions. However, if the person also holds T1 effort units or T2 effort units converted under part 1 , the chief executive must include the details about effort units for the Moreton Bay trawl region issued under this part in the replacement certificate given under section 7 (c) .
