sec.96 Weight notice is evidence of use of entitlement

This section applies if a commercial fisher in control of a fishing operation gives the chief executive a weight notice for prescribed coral reef fin fish taken under line units. The notice is evidence that the holder of the line units has taken, under the line units, the whole weight equivalent of the amount of regulated coral reef fin fish stated in the notice. For subsection (2) , the whole weight equivalent of the amount of regulated coral reef fin fish stated in the notice is— for an amount stated for whole regulated coral reef fin fish—the amount stated; or for an amount stated for regulated coral reef fin fish that is not whole—the amount calculated in the way stated in section 91 (1) , (2) or (4) that applies to the fish. s 96 amd 2020 SL No. 236 s 144 (sec.96-ssec.1) This section applies if a commercial fisher in control of a fishing operation gives the chief executive a weight notice for prescribed coral reef fin fish taken under line units.
