sec.19 Fishing priority—other commercial fisheries
This section applies— to each commercial fisher acting under a primary commercial fishing licence; and for using a net in a commercial fishery, other than an ocean beach fishery. Each of the commercial fishers is authorised under the licence to use a net— in an area around the fisher’s boat within a radius equal to the length of a net the fisher is authorised to use in the fishery; and in the order in which the fishers are ready to fish with the nets in the area. s 19 amd 2020 SL No. 236 s 124 sch 2 (sec.19-ssec.1) This section applies— to each commercial fisher acting under a primary commercial fishing licence; and for using a net in a commercial fishery, other than an ocean beach fishery. (sec.19-ssec.2) Each of the commercial fishers is authorised under the licence to use a net— in an area around the fisher’s boat within a radius equal to the length of a net the fisher is authorised to use in the fishery; and in the order in which the fishers are ready to fish with the nets in the area.
- (a) to each commercial fisher acting under a primary commercial fishing licence; and
- (b) for using a net in a commercial fishery, other than an ocean beach fishery.
