sch.2-sec.15 Use of chains for net
More than 1 line of ground chain and 1 line of tickler chain must not be used across the mouth of each net. The links of the ground chain must not have a diameter of more than 10mm. The links of the tickler chain must not have a diameter of more than— if a ground chain is used—6mm; or if something else is attached at 1 or more points to the bottom rope of an otter trawl net so that the thing is suspended below the bottom rope when the net is in use—10mm.
