sch.2-sec.110 Square mesh panel
A panel of a net is a recognised BRD if the panel complies with this section. The panel must be in the top of the cod end of the net. The panel must consist of a surrounding panel around a centre panel. The surrounding panel must be made of square mesh of— a mesh size of at least 40mm; and at least— 450mm wide; and 600mm long. The centre panel must be made of square mesh of— a mesh size of at least 50mm; and at least— 200mm wide; and 300mm long. The panel must be installed so that— the trailing edge of the surrounding panel is no more than 60 meshes from the cod end drawstrings of the net; and the trailing edge of the centre panel is no more than 65 meshes from the cod end drawstrings of the net.
