Tasmania regulation
These Rules amend the Fisheries Rules 2019 to implement provisions concerning vessel monitoring systems. They take effect on the day their making is notified in the Gazette and the amendments have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Fisheries Rules 2019. Administered by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania.
Mechanically, the instrument changes the principal fisheries instrument; people and businesses subject to the Fisheries Rules 2019 will bear any compliance costs and altered obligations, and commencement is triggered by Gazette notification.
