108 Offence in relation to property seized or retained S. 108(1) amended by No. 35/2009 s. 67(2). (1) A person must not dispose of, remove, damage or interfere with anything seized or subject to a retention notice under this Act except in accordance with this Act. S. 108(2) amended by No. 17/2002 s. 22. (2) If a court convicts a person of an offence against subsection (1) or finds a person guilty of an offence against subsection (1), the court may in addition to any penalty imposed under that subsection, order the person to pay compensation for any damage or loss caused by the offence to any person. S. 108A inserted by No. 80/2000 s. 11.
