101F Power to arrest a person against whom a warrant has been issued
S. 101F(1) amended by No. 37/2014 s. 10(Sch. item 65.8(a)).
(1) If a warrant to arrest a person who is charged with an offence under this Act has been issued, an authorised officer or a police officer may arrest the person even though the authorised officer or police officer does not have the execution copy of the warrant in his or her possession.
(2) Sections 65(2) to 65(6) of the **Magistrates' Court Act 1989** apply to an arrest under this section as if—
(a) a reference in those sections to "subsection (1)" was a reference to subsection (1); and

(b) a reference to a police officer included a reference to an authorised officer.
