56 Conversion factors for greenweight of fish (1) Except where otherwise expressly provided, a reference in this Act or in an instrument of a legislative or administrative character made under it to the weight of fish or aquatic life shall be construed as a reference to the greenweight of the fish or aquatic life, being the weight of the fish or aquatic life before any processing (other than freezing) commences and before any part of the fish or aquatic life is removed. (2) The Minister may, by notice in the Gazette, specify conversion factors which shall, for all purposes and in any proceedings for an offence against this Act, be used to determine the greenweight of fish or aquatic life.
