52 Fishing Industry Research and Development Trust Fund advisory committee (1) The Minister must establish a committee to advise the Minister on matters relating to the disbursement of money in the Fishing Industry Research and Development Trust Fund. (2) The committee consists of: (a) the Director as chairperson; and (b) representatives of the fishing industry, and other persons, appointed by the Minister. Fisheries Act 1988 72 (3) A person appointed under subsection (2)(b) holds office for the period determined by the Minister and may be removed from office by the Minister at any time. (4) The committee: (a) meets at the intervals and times determined by the chairperson; and (b) determines its own procedure.
