#### 6D Purchase of manufactured home 6D Purchase of manufactured home > > (1) If a person purchases a manufactured home and intends to use it as a place of residence on land which the person has a right to occupy under a lease, licence or other arrangement but in which the person does not have a relevant interest— > > > > > (a) this Act applies as if the person had a relevant interest in the land and were an owner builder building a home on the land, and > > > > > (b) the commencement date of the transaction is taken to be the date of the contract to purchase the manufactured home, and > > > > > (c) the transaction is taken to be completed when the manufactured home is ready for occupation as a place of residence on land that the person has a right to occupy. > > > (2) In this section— > > > > manufactured home has the same meaning as it has in the [Local Government Act 1993](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1993-030). > > **s 6D:** Ins 2008 No 67, Sch 2 \[3\].
