#### 24 Term of permit 24 Term of permit > Except in the case of a minor’s firearms permit, a permit continues in force, unless it is sooner surrendered or revoked or otherwise ceases to be in force, from the date on which it is issued for a period of 5 years, or such shorter period as may be specified under the Act or this Regulation (or as may be determined by the Commissioner) for the permit.
