#### 158 Savings 158 Savings > > (1) Any act, matter or thing that, immediately before the repeal of the [Firearms Regulation 2006](/view/html/repealed/current/sl-2006-0512), had effect under that Regulation (the repealed Regulation), continues to have effect under this Regulation. > > > (2) Without limiting subclause (1)— > > > > > (a) any permit issued by the Commissioner under a provision of the repealed Regulation and in force immediately before the repeal of that Regulation is taken to be a permit in force under the corresponding provision of this Regulation, and > > > > > (b) any approval granted by the Commissioner under a provision of the repealed Regulation and in force immediately before its repeal is taken to be an approval in force under the corresponding provision of this Regulation. > > > (3) A change (resulting from the making of this Regulation or any subsequent amendment to this Regulation) to the grounds on which the issue of a licence or permit under the Act must be refused does not affect the issue of a licence or permit before the change takes effect.
