139 Amnesty for transfer of firearms and related articles involving participating dealers
> > (1) A person is exempt from the possession restrictions of the Act in respect of a firearm or related article while in possession of the firearm or related article at a participating dealer, or while proceeding to a participating dealer, for the purposes of supplying the firearm or related article to the participating dealer.

> > Supply of a firearm or related article can be by sale, gift or otherwise.

> > (2) A person is exempt from the supply restrictions of the Act in respect of the supply of a firearm or related article to a participating dealer.

> > (3) A participating dealer is exempt from the supply restrictions of the Act in respect of the supply of a surrendered firearm or related article to the holder of a museum firearms permit.

> > (4) The holder of a museum firearms permit is exempt from the requirement in the Act, section 31 for a permit to acquire a surrendered firearm or related article that is supplied to the holder by a participating dealer.
