138 Amnesty for surrender of firearms and related articles
(1) A person is exempt from the possession restrictions of the Act in respect of a firearm or related article while in possession of the firearm or related article at a police station or participating dealer, or while proceeding to a police station or participating dealer, for the purposes of surrendering the firearm or related article.
(2), (3) (Repealed)
(4) The surrender of a firearm or related article does not constitute a supply of the firearm or related article.
(5) The Commissioner may publish information and advice about how a person should go about surrendering a firearm or related article.
