89 False or misleading statements (1) A person must not make a statement in an official document the person knows to be false or misleading in a material particular. (3) A person must not falsely state that a firearm has been disposed of, lost or stolen. official document means an application, notice, return, report, record, register or other document made, given, lodged or kept under this Act.
