62 Adult firearms licences—no genuine reason to possess
or use firearms
An applicant for an adult firearms licence does not have a genuine
reason to possess or use a firearm if the applicant intends to possess
or use the firearm for—
(a) personal protection or the protection of anyone else; or
(b) the protection of property (other than in circumstances
constituting a reason of a kind mentioned in table 61, column 2).
