50 Police may seize firearms under suspended and cancelled licences (1) A police officer may seize any firearm in a person’s possession if a licence held by the person is suspended or cancelled. (2) When the suspension of a licence ends, a police officer must return any firearm seized under this section to the licensee if— (a) the licence is in force or has not been further suspended; or (b) possession of the firearm is not otherwise prohibited under this Act.
