35 Delegation by registrar
(1) The registrar may delegate the registrar’s functions under this Act or
another territory law to a police officer.
(2) However, the registrar must not delegate the registrar’s functions
under section 18A, 18B or 18C.
Note 1 For the making of delegations and the exercise of delegated functions,
see the Legislation Act, pt 19.4.
Note 2 In particular, the delegation must be in writing (see Legislation Act,
s 232).
